Research Experience
Aug 2026 – present
MS thesis: Quantum contextuality
Supervised remotely by Dr. Beata Zjawin, ICTQT, University of Gdańsk
Studying the typicality of generalized contextuality: how often randomly chosen states and measurements produce nonclassical statistics. Planned questions cover individual components (states, channels, sets of states), higher dimensions and subspace restrictions, and the link between contextuality and task advantage. Full description on the Research page.

Independent project: entanglement through gravity in the CMB
Discussions with Dr. Marios Christodoulou, IQOQI Vienna
Literature-stage study of whether the entanglement generated between inflationary perturbation modes could be witnessed in CMB data, and what a positive result would say about gravity. Working toward a conference poster. Details.
Jan – Jun 2026
Cosmological magnetogenesis from ultralight dark matter
Supervised by Prof. Koushik Dutta, IISER Kolkata
Studied recently proposed mechanisms by which oscillating axion-like and scalar ultralight dark matter generate cosmic magnetic fields through tachyonic (parametric-resonance) instabilities of the electromagnetic field after recombination. Worked through the derivations, including the background equations for a pseudoscalar coupled to electromagnetism by a Chern–Simons term, the Floquet-exponent resonance condition and the resulting magnetic-field power spectra, and connected the framework to CMB constraints on gauge-field production during inflation. Also studied the finite-conductivity critique of the mechanism and drafted follow-up proposals. Details and derivation notes on the Notes page.

Inflationary cosmology research project
Supervised by Prof. Koushik Dutta, IISER Kolkata
Theoretical study of cosmic inflation based on Baumann's Cosmology, alongside Susskind's Theoretical Minimum lectures on cosmology: the horizon and flatness problems, the shrinking comoving Hubble radius, scalar-field-driven models, the conditions for accelerated expansion, slow-roll dynamics, and the large-scale homogeneity of the CMB. Notes and slides.
